Position Summary
Sono is seeking a Sommelier to join our opening team. The ideal candidate is comfortable leading the wine experience while also helping the service . This is not a floor-only sommelier position — we are looking for a team player who thrives in a hands-on environment.

Provide wine recommendations and thoughtful pairings to guests
Assist in building and maintaining a curated wine list
Manage wine inventory, organization, and vendor coordination
Maintain high standards of hospitality and professionalism
2+ years experience in a wine-focused or fine dining restaurant
Strong foundational wine knowledge
Comfortable balancing wine service and full-service responsibilities
Professional, organized, and team-oriented
NYC experience strongly preferred
Passionate about both wine and hospitality
Interested in contributing to a unique talian concept curated by a Korean chef
Looking to grow with an opening team and take ownership
