Overview:

Our client, a Global Fortune 50 organization and one of world’s largest distributors of healthcare systems, medical supplies & Pharmaceutical products, seeks an accomplished Pharmacy Technician.

Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Location: Memphis, TN (Onsite → 4971 Southridge Memphis, TN 38141)

Duration: Approx. 3 Months assignment with possible extension

Work Schedule:

  • Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 11:00 AM – 9:30 PM
  • Saturday: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
  • 4-day work week (10-hour shifts)
  • Overtime may be required

Must-Have Requirements:

  • Active Tennessee State Pharmacy Technician License
  • Minimum 1+ year of pharmacy operations experience
  • Experience in Central Fill environment
  • Reliable transportation for onsite work
  • Ability to work 10-hour shifts and flexible for overtime

Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications
  • Perform manual prescription entry and medication picking
  • Operate automated sorting, counting, and dispensing equipment
  • Fill bottles and containers with tablets and capsules
  • Apply prescription labels accurately to packaging
  • Pack and prepare medications for distribution
  • Receive, stock, and organize incoming inventory and supplies
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using computer systems
  • Clean and maintain pharmacy equipment
  • Support general pharmacy operations and documentation tasks

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Active Tennessee Pharmacy Technician License
  • At least 1 year of pharmacy or related operational experience
  • Basic computer skills and data entry experience
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-focused environment
  • Good organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and compliance guidelines
  • Prior experience in a Central Fill pharmacy environment
  • Experience working with automated pharmacy systems
  • Familiarity with inventory management processes
