  • Develop compelling, customized proposals and presentations that align with client vision, budget, and brand standards while maximizing upsell opportunities.
  • Partner with culinary leadership to create innovative, tailored menus and event concepts that differentiate 12th Street Catering in the marketplace.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (kitchen, staffing, rentals, logistics) to ensure feasibility, accuracy, and seamless execution across all event details.
  • Lead client meetings and site visits, confidently guiding clients through decisions, timelines, and event logistics with professionalism and authority.
  • Oversee the preparation and accuracy of key event documents including timelines, staffing plans, floor plans, and setup/breakdown instructions, ensuring readiness for operations teams.
  • Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication, exceptional service, and strategic guidance—building repeat business and referrals.
  • Provide on-site event leadership as needed, acting as a calm, solutions-oriented presence and ensuring client satisfaction and operational excellence.
  • Track sales performance and pipeline activity, maintain CRM accuracy, and report on key metrics while identifying opportunities to improve conversion, efficiency, and client experience.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in catering sales, events sales, or hospitality sales required; full-service catering experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals in a client-facing, high-touch environment.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail paired with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM and catering event management software.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Preferred Attributes:

  • A passion for food, hospitality, and creating unforgettable guest experiences.
  • Experience leading within a collaborative sales environment or team pod structure.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively while staying grounded in logistics, budgets, and execution realities.
  • Confident, polished, and proactive—able to lead clients and internal teams through complex events with ease.
  • Willingness to work nights and weekends.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary and commission structure
  • Opportunities for professional development and advancement
  • A collaborative, energetic team environment
  • The chance to be part of some of the most exciting events in the region

Benefits:
