We are looking for a Lead Aircraft Component Technician to join our FAA Repair Station team. This isn’t just a "bench tech" role—it’s a mission-critical position where your technical expertise directly impacts flight safety and operational excellence.
salary: $22 - $25 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 6 AM - 2:30 PM
education: High School
Responsibilities
- Assembly & Repair: Perform full-cycle assembly, disassembly, and rework of aircraft components, including hand soldering and the operation of automated assembly equipment.
- Troubleshooting: Analyze and test components to identify failures, providing data-driven recommendations to return parts to service in compliance with FAA regulations.
- Maintenance: Execute machine and line setups, including feeder repairs and first-line preventative maintenance on SMT and assembly tools.
- Quality Control: Ensure all work aligns with soldering specifications, product process flows, and rigorous quality standards.
The essential functions of this role include:
- working in a smoke free environment
- working up to 2 hrs of overtime per week
