Role Description
Herrin Law, PLLC, is seeking an Experienced Bankruptcy Attorney to join our team in Dallas, TX. This is a full-time, on-site role focused on managing complex bankruptcy matters, with a strong emphasis on Chapter 11 business reorganizations.
This position will take ownership of Chapter 11 cases from intake through confirmation, including case strategy development, petition preparation, first-day motions, cash collateral and DIP financing issues, plan formulation, and confirmation proceedings. The attorney will regularly interact with debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, trustees, and the U.S. Trustee’s office, and will be expected to represent clients confidently in contested hearings and negotiations.
Responsibilities include drafting and filing Chapter 11 petitions, schedules, SOFAs, disclosure statements, plans of reorganization, and all related motions, as well as advising clients on restructuring strategy, risk exposure, and operational considerations during the pendency of the case. The role also involves handling Chapter 7 and other bankruptcy matters as needed.
