Role Description

This is a full-time, or part time, for a CDL Chauffeur (CDL B) position based in Charlotte, NC. The CDL Chauffeur will be responsible for providing safe, courteous, and professional transportation services for clients, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs at various destinations. Additional responsibilities include adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws, and delivering superior customer service to create an exceptional experience for clients.

Key   Responsibilities

• Safely operate and drive various vehicles, including  Sprinter Vans, Mini buses and Motor Coaches.
• Provide top-notch service to clients during events, wine tours, weddings and sightseeing trips.
• Plan routes efficient routes using GPS and internal trip notes.
• Communicate clearly with dispatch, clients and event planners.
• Engage with clients during events such as  wine tours ,  weddings , or  local sightseeing tours .
• Conduct  pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Monitor weather conditions and road reports prior to departure.
• Report any major maintenance issues or client impactful issues to management promptly.
• Accurately record and report working hours using an  Electronic Logging Device (ELD) .
• Adhere to company policies, regulations and all applicable traffic laws
• Prioritize safety at all times and adjust driving according to weather and road conditions
• Adhere to all company policies,  DOT regulations , and  traffic laws at all times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Commercial CDL (Class B)with  Passenger Endorsement (required).
• Minimum 2 years CDL bus experience (required).
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background and drug tests. 
• Ability to  maneuver 35-ft mini buses comfortably.
• Strong  attention to detail , physical fitness (ability to lift up to 50 lbs) and excellent route planning skills.
• Proficient in  using GPS and other routing systems.
